Come and join a mindful walk where we explore our environment using our senses. Choice of a 2 mile and 4.5 mile circuit within the lovely countryside around either Bodicote or West Adderbury, near Banbury Oxfordshire. On the walk we practice some grounding exercises first to settle our minds and then share a poem and short chat about mindfulness and mindful attitudes. Along the walk which winds through the village to the field paths we practice, along the way: mindful movement (simple guided gentle movements within your comfort zone), visual and hearing practices and simple breathing meditations. We have time for chat, quiet time and a short coffee/tea stop so please bring a drink and snack which we will enjoy mindfully.
Please note walking boots and layers of warm clothing plus waterproof jackets are required, there are no stiles on the short 2 mile walk which starts at Adderbury village green. The 4.5 mile circuits cover farmland paths, village tracks and some pavement walking plus there are some stiles to climb over and some hilly sections. In the event of severe weather warnings the walks will be rearranged.
